The properties link allows collaborative workspace managers to consult the system information of their eCommunities: size in real time, activity sector, name of the workspace creator, date of creation, as well as the other information provided when a workspace is created. This information can only be seen by the workspace managers.
 What is the « Size » of an workspace ?
Like electronic messaging (emails), collaborative workspaces have volume totals that depend on the amount of information they contain. The workspaces are limited, by default, to 50 MB with the free version of mayeticVillage (free internet messaging services have only 4 to 10 MB on average).
To see the size of your workspace, you can click at anytime on the link "Workspace Information" in the banner at the top of your workspace. The size depends on: - for one part, the total volume of published documents in the workspace.
- and also on, the structure of the workspace, the number of rooms, inner-rooms, files, document indexes, etc.
Warning: every week, the volume of each workspace is re-compacted. To see the most precise listing of your workspace volume, you should consult the properties of your space each Monday morning.

Your Workspace passes 2GB…
In this case, you will receive an email from the mayeticVillage support team inviting you to clean your collaborative workspace within the next 7 days. If you do not clean it, your workspace risks to be blocked or even permanently deleted. Of course, you may also ask for an extra storage space so that you no longer need to worry about the storage space of your workspace. |
