We are aware that users of free internet-based tools are often wary of the "hidden costs" of these services. This is why we would like to tell you more about Mayetic's philosophy, which explains why and how we are able to offer these free, high-quality workspaces without compromising your privacy.
Our business model is based on establishing an ongoing relationship of trust with our users and on providing businesses with real value, corporate-grade paid collaborative solutions.
Anyone with an internet connection can create a full-featured, fully functional free workspace. If they later chose to do so, they can enhance their workspace by purchasing additional services. We provide specific packages including ad-free, custom skins, increased storage space, etc. for individual workspaces, and more comprehensive solutions for businesses: Premium Workspaces, global hosted solutions, corporate solutions, etc.
Workspace SECURITY: standard to mayeticVillage, access to workspaces is secured by user name and password. Additional security can be purchased, such as SSL or backup services.
No Spyware: Mayetic does not keep traces of member activity. The free version of mayeticVillage is not a spyware and uses cookies solely for security and to facilitate user access to workspaces.
No dissemination of personal data: Mayetic is committed not to share, disseminate, sell or otherwise any personal user data. Any information requested on our secured sites is processed internally. In conformity with the French privacy laws (article 27, act n°78-17 January 6, 1978 on computing, files and freedom), you can have access to and modify your data at any time by contacting Mayetic. Virus-free: all documents posted to our workspaces is automatically scanned and analyzed by the mayeticVillage antivirus.
SPAM-free: Mayetic is committed not to share, disseminate, sell or otherwise any personal user data. Emails sent by Mayetic contains an "unsubscribe" link. As members of mayeticVillage, users will receive to types of emails:
1: automated notifications of changes to workspaces, which can be customized or suppressed on a workspace-basis by configuring the "OBJECT: "News" in your [yourWorkspaceName].
